As one of Australia’s largest industry funds, we use our strength, security and stability to deliver great retirement outcomes for more than 1.8 million members.
We also help over 170,000 Australian businesses manage their super obligations across almost every industry in Australia.
With the merger of Westscheme into AustralianSuper on 1 July 2011, we have $42 billion in funds under management.
By coming together in the West, AustralianSuper can offer members more. The Westscheme Division will continue to have services delivered out of Perth and be proudly Western Australian.
The same people you know and trust will still be looking after you. Now they’ll be a part of a bigger AustralianSuper team and backed by the extra resources of AustralianSuper.
We want the Westscheme Division to be the industry fund for Western Australians.

We welcome members from all industries
AustralianSuper was created on 1 July 2006 through the merger of Australian Retirement Fund (ARF) and the Superannuation Trust of Australia (STA).
We are a multi-industry fund, which means we take care of the superannuation of members from a diverse range of industries.
We’re an industry super fund
An industry super fund like AustralianSuper returns its profits to members - not shareholders. And unlike many retail funds, we don't pay commissions to financial advisers.
We’re committed to providing quality service
For this reason, we only employ managers and specialist staff in-house, and complement their expertise with external service providers.
In-house expertise
The Board of Directors oversees all aspects of AustralianSuper and is made up of six member representatives and six employer representatives.
The Investment Committee monitors a range of issues relating to the economy, investment markets, the Fund and its appointed investment managers.
Key staff ensure AustralianSuper runs efficiently on a day-to-day level and that service standards are met or exceeded.
