How to Join as a Participating Employer

Employers choose to become a Westscheme Participating Employer for two reasons:

  1. They have nominated Westscheme as their employer fund - the fund an employer can use for those employees who do not nominate a fund of their own; or
  2. One or more employees have requested that their contributions be paid to Westscheme.

To nominate Westscheme as your employer fund, please complete and return the Notification of Choice of Employer Fund form in the Employer Handbook.

If one or more of your employees has chosen Westscheme as their super fund, and your business wishes to become a Westscheme Participating Employer ensure you have read Westscheme's Member Handbook/Product Disclosure Statement. Next follow the three easy steps in the Application to Become a Participating Employer and send it in to us.

When completing the form, please pay particular attention to the Duty of Disclosure. If errors are made, it is possible that your employees' insurance cover may be jeopardised. The Insurance section of the Westscheme Employer Handbook provides more information on this issue.
