SPOUSE CONTRIBUTIONS

Westscheme accepts spouse contributions. The Federal Government introduced this initiative to encourage families to save for a better standard of living in retirement.Your spouse can now pay contributions into your Westscheme account.

If your spouse wishes to contribute superannuation for you, just download a Spouse Contribution Slip, complete it and send it in to us.

If your spouse is not a member of Westscheme, but you are, then you can open an account for your spouse. Simply complete the form in the back of the Member Handbook/Product Disclosure Statement and send it to us with a contribution to start your spouse's account.

If you decide to  make super contributions on behalf of your spouse, you could be eligible for a spouse contributions tax offset, depending on your spouse income level.  To read more please refer to the Member Handbook/Product Disclosure Statement.

A spouse is defined as a husband, wife, opposite-sex or same-sex de facto partner.
